Established in 1995, ISINKWE SAFARIS is a "hand made" company, created and operated by the Davies family. Our professional services are on offer to all tour operators and travel agents who wish to have peace of mind that their clients are well looked after while enjoying a personalised safari experience within the Hluhluwe / Imfolozi and Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Parks.
Father and son team, Ivan and Gareth have ensured, through their knowledge of the area and their expertise on wildlife and conservation, that our safaris are informative and exciting, and will satisfy the travellers quest to see and experience African wildlife.
Added to this, the Hluhluwe / Imfolozi, and St. Lucia Wetlands Parks offer exceptionally good African wildlife viewing at all times of the year, even if only for a short visit.
Vehicles:
Isinkwe Safaris operate a well maintained fleet of six 4x4 open-vehicles, as well as a Toyota Condor and Renault Kangoo passenger vehicles.
Fieldguides:
Isinkwe caters for all the extra needs of an international visitor on safari, including well-spoken and knowledgeable field guides. Field guides who are employed in our company, are F.G.A.S.A. registered and qualified. Our field guides are committed to providing an interesting, educational wildlife experience.
Coach Tours and Incentive Groups:
Our involvement in the safari tourism industy has afforded us the opportunity to service international tour groups of varying sizes. We undertake to deliver a game viewing experience to an average of four tour groups per week, with group sizes ranging from twenty to eighty guests.
We also act as agents, co-ordinating very large groups which visit the area from time to time e.g. Cruise Liners docking at Durban or Richards Bay and undertaking a day safari with lunch to Hluhluwe / Imfolozi Game Reserve.
We are flexible and are able to offer our products to small exclusive travelling parties , coach tours and large incentive groups.
Isinkwe's portfolio also includes ISINKWE BACKPACKERS BUSHCAMP located in the Hluhluwe area, from where we conduct full day Safaris to the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve. These trips run from sunrise to sunset and are on offer daily.
